Tropical Industrial Company provides specialty craft and maintenance services to key industries located in Saint Croix and the surrounding islands. We are dedicated to offering the safest and highest quality service and solutions every step of the way. INDUSTRIAL SERVICES
Tropical Industrial Company offers the full range of industrial services including construction, maintenance, on-call construction, turnaround services, specialty services, equipment rentals and operators, and more.
SCAFFOLDING
We can build any type of scaffolding from modular, system, cuplock, tubular, suspended, cantilever, and mobile scaffolds. All employees are trained and certified.
WELDING
All of our welders are certified and supervised for quality assurance and control. Welders are available for metal fabrication, pipefitting, and repairs.
HEAVY EQUIPMENT
All equipment operators are thoroughly trained. All equipment is inspected daily and is only used if inspection is passed. Equipment rentals are also available.
INSULATION
Our insulation experts are skilled at identifying and repairing deficiencies in existing insulation that can negatively affect safety, energy conservation, operations and energy costs
TANK REPAIR
Certified Welders, Seal Repair

BOILER MAKER
Trained and certified boilermakers who assemble, install, maintain, and repair boilers, closed vats, and other large vessels or containers that hold liquids and gases.
IRON WORK
Trained, certified iron workers who install structural and reinforcing iron and steel to form and support buildings, bridges, and roads.
STRUCTURAL WORK
We have workers trained in cutting, bending, and assembling of raw materials—generally steel—to create finished products, systems, and structures.
HYDRO BLASTING
Highly pressurized water is used to clean the interior and exterior surfaces of tanks, pipes, product lines, storage vessels, catch basins, boilers, reactors, evaporators, etc.,
SANDBLASTING
Sandblasting can remove paint, rust, and residue from oxidation from materials quickly and efficiently and can be used to change the condition of a metal's surface, such as through removing scratches or casting marks
PAINTING
Our industrial painters clean, paint, and apply protective coatings to machinery, equipment, industrial structures, and more. We can meet all of your industrial painting needs.
JANITORIAL AND GROUNDS
We also provide industrial cleaning and grounds maintenance services, as well as regular facility maintenance services such as painting and fireproofing.
EQUIPMENT & MATERIAL RENTALS
All equipment and material are maintained and available for rental

Safety Standards

We follow all of OSHA policies.

All supervision will have OSHA 30 Training.

All employees will be required to fulfill all the client's safety standards, Basic Plus, Site Specific, Drug test, and fresh air training.

Any additional training that is needed, the company will abide by the client's recommendations.
Quality Assurance & Control

All work performed by Tropical Industrial Company is inspected and overviewed to make sure all work is 100% quality and there are no short cuts taken.

All welders will be certified and given a stencil.

All welds will be weld mapped and documented according to where their welds were made.

Once the job is complete, a packet will be turned into inspection for review and acceptance, and if needed, repairs will be made.
